Welcome to my first ever personal travel blog.

Get comfortable. Grab a cup of coffee. Decaf maybe? If you avoid anxiety as much as I do.

Hey there! I'm Megan. Welcome to my blog. Let me give you a hug. Or not, if you're not a hugger that's cool. Here you can expect to read my observations, experiences, and insights as I develop my outlook on this thing we call life.

Background

I won't bore you with the details. Just a brief rundown. I'm a big fan of KISSing (Keep It Simple, Sweetie...ing).

I hail from the small town of Fairlee, VT. I'm the daughter of a baking teacher and an antique car restoration business owner. Quite a combo in my opinion.

I took what my parents taught me and now I love to combine baking and art. Before I left my small town life for life in a Canadian METROPOLIS (can I really call it that?).

I've been fortunate enough to travel to many amazing places throughout my life, but mostly places in Europe and the USA. Now, I'm adding Canada to the list.

I'm currently stationed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan--Canada's midwest. There are canola fields that stretch on for miles here and they smell...interesting, to say the least. But that's a different post for a different day. I need to maintain some air of mystery. Stay tuned 'til that time comes!

Y'all come back now, y'hear?

Thanks for giving me your time! I'm so happy to see you here. I hope I can lighten your lives a little bit with humor, inspiration, or beauty in the future. Maybe even a tasty recipe or two!
